We're thrilled with how many of you came along to the match today!
Just weeks after Tom passing Bray and Jack wanted to keep his memory alive by organising a charity football match to raise money to hopefully help and prevent other families from going through what we are going through, and to try and make something positive out of something so awful.
We had our first charity football match in September last year and after it’s tremendous success we decided to make it an annual event.
Nikki, Shaun, Joe, Lauren, Bray, Jack, Liam and I can’t thank you all enough for your support again this year. We are humbled by how many of you showed up and came to support us.
The event has taken weeks of planning and hard work and we are thrilled with how the day went. Special thanks go to everyone associated with Bolsover Town F.C. who helped make it possible, either in the run up to the event or on the day itself, you really made a big difference in how well it ran.
We will be posting soon how much money has been raised and photos of the day so one final thank you to everyone who: supported, donated, helped out and played yesterday.
After the match, we handed over a cabinet to Bolsover Town F.C. who will use it to make their on site defib available 24/7. We are delighted that they have decided to take this course of action and only too pleased to help make it possible.
Here’s to next year!
